Here are some tips:
- Fisrt clean up your diet (you'd be surprised how much fat you can lose just by eating good food)
- Then start to shift your macronutrients. Some people like different methods, you'll have to see which you like the best. Remember to keep your protein high to spare muscle tissue.
- Slowly reduce your calories by 500
- If you are dieting natural, you might want to try and lost weight a lot slower to try and avoid losing too much muscle.
- Try a thermogenic stack (Ephedra is banned soon, so stock up while you can)
- When diet alone won't take off fat as quick as you would like, then slowly introduce cardio. I would suggest looking into HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). There is a great thread on this board about HIIT.
- Try and consume carbs early in the day and after training. Late night carbs might be a bad idea, so try and eat them in your first 3 meals of the day.
- Shoot for a minimum of 6 meals per day. If you have trouble eating 6 times per day, then eat smaller proportions. 6 times per day will keep your metabloism up.
- If you are using a very low carb diet, try introducing a high carb day once per week. This will raise your metabolism and keep your body buring all those calories.
I have to get going to the gym now. If I think of anything else to add, I will throw it in here
