Carb cycling diet

I do it basically like you do.......low carbs but not zero carbs, carbs are all oats and green veggies, saturday carb up
 
It really depends. What do you intend to achieve with your carb-up day? For example, Are you carbing up to fill in, or are you using the carb-up day to keep your thyroid trucking?
 
If your one of the guys that can't get away with a cheat day(not many), then you can just eat more carbs through most of the day, cutting them out before your last 2 meals.
 
Yes, I think you'd do a lot better that way. See how the carbing up affects you for the 2 days. If it's giving you problems, cut it back to just 1 day
