Liftsiron gave me permission to post this.

Slated for September 1st.

I ride 1000 miles in under 24 hours on my bike. Not that hard. But a lot of fun for me and a good cause.

Leaving at about 4am. Will meet with 2 other guys 500 miles into the run. They will escort me home then they're gonne complete their last 500.

I'll be home September 2nd.

Last year we raised over $1500.00.

And any amount is appreciated. I usually ask for commitments of .5 or .10 cents per mile. But this year. (Like last year) Any amount is greatly appreciated.

An update on Cheyenne my neice.

Not in remission yet. But we're hoping this fall will be it. She's doing great. Learning to play piano and giving my brother a hard time. As she should. Lol.

As of now no way to donate with PayPal. PayPal will not do it without a fee even though it's a charity. 100% goes to the fund. NO ONE ACCEPTS CASH. ON ANY BOARD. NO ONE.

I'll post pics of the odometer and a time stamped fuel receipt from when I leave. Each fuel stop and when I get back.

Thanks lifts.

Also there is an anonymous tab when you donate. No one. Not me or anyone except the billing company sees your info. So your not going to open yourself up to anyone. You can donate using the board name too. Make up a name. Some used their board name. It's all anyone can see. Nothing else.

Well. We just got a $500.00 donation from one person. Wow. So far we a tad over $750.00. For this year.

Bikes all packed up. Going to bed now. Leaving out at 3 am.

Prayers and thoughts for a safe ride appreciated as much as a donation.

Seemed like a great day to ride.
I hope you have a safe trip.
Looking forward to the details, also, making a donation as well.

Ride went uneventful. Had a great time. Total of 18 hours. Seat time actual about 14 1/2.

I'll get the odometer pics posted and the time stamped receipts.

Thanks guys.
