I feel funny bringing this topic up. I am engaged to a wonderful woman that I love a lot. I've known since I met her that she likes to occasionally go out with her girlfriends to cut loose and dance. A couple of her girlfriends are single so naturally they will want to get some guys to dance with them. I am pretty sure there are times that there are guys dancing with my girl and it makes me jealous - not crazy jealous, but a little bit. The reason is, I have only gotten to dance with her twice in the 7 months we have been together. I am not a big dancer and it takes usually several drinks before I can loosen up for it, so maybe that's part of the reason. Anyways, I trust her 100% that she is faithful to me - that is something I feel strongly about and we have a great connection.
As long as she is faithful to me, should I even care if a guy occasionally wants to dance with her as long as that is all it is? A woman's perspective would be nice here too. She is great to me and is very loving toward me. Part of me wonders though if since we are now engaged that maybe she should consider putting the partying/dancing with the girls behind her? In your opinion, is that appropriate kind of behavior for a woman that is now engaged with a ring on her finger? I just don't know, and I don't want to be controlling and want her to be able to be the person she needs to be. After all, she never complains about me playing a lot of softball or lifting weights and she never says a word about my aas useage and supports me there as long as I am careful.
I guess I feel jealous because I know she is out of town for 4 days for a business convention and I know she is going out with her co-worker girlfriends and a couple guys with them dancing to the clubs and I can't be there with her to enjoy this part of her. Again, I feel certain she is faithful to me and I trust her there.
If this is too wordy or doesn't make sense, it's cuz it's like 5 am and I am tired and should be sleeping.
