dumb ass got in trouble at work

Ill try to get right to the point here. Theres been a dude at work who has been on my ass for a couple of months.. Hes been very very nast to me for no real reason he just thinks its funy. He will walk up to the window at the lab that i work at and just call me a bitch and talk mad shit. He even makes cracks that im a terroist and a camel jockey cause of my dark skin. When i leave the lab to walk to the lines (I work in a juice factory) if hes in front of me he will put his middle finger up just to be an asshole. Well today he went to far and said something about my mom and doing sexual things with her. I walked up to the window and slapped him pretty good in the face. No one saw it but like and idiot i admited i did it. His supervisor had to file a report he likes me but he had to. He had me write down everthing that led up to it and what happend exactly. I cant loose this job im not sure whats gonna happen. The dude who i slapped said he didn't want me to get fired i think he knows he had it comeing. I have a meeting with the higher ups tommorow. Any good advice on what i should say. Boy did i mess up it was reflex. His eye and nose are swollen but nothing major. The place I work at is notorious for letting people off of shit hopefully i will get off.

If I do get fired is there a chance i could get unemployment. Im actually moving in about 6 weeeks. I need to have work until i move but it will be hard finding a job around this little town.

He had to issue a statement he said he wants me to stay maybe this will save me.. I might get stuck doing anger managent but i might need it neways.. Ive been using violence my whole life when i get disrespected bad enough. Since I was a little kid. But theres no place for it at work
 
Tell the fucker that you'll kill him if you get fired and make him beg the bosses to keep you, that it was all his fault and he drove you to do it.
 
he texted me last night... I broke his nose.. from a slap i cant imagine if i would of drilled him with everything I had. He sells rip off dvds at work.. I told him If i go down he goes down too.. He must make and xtra 200 bucks a week doing that

haha Im not sure if its crooked.. It was an open hand smack more like a cuff. I just got back from my meeting with hr. They gave me the option to resign and it wont go on my record at all. They told me whatever happens to me there gonna do with the kid i pimped smacked. Im trying to feel positive about this its not going on my record. Im moving to South carolina soo ill have some money coming in until i get a job

tell them if they fire you then you will sue due to a hostile workplace . you should have reported him sooner.

Tell HR that you're going to report the company to the anti-copyright people for them letting the punk sell rip off DVD's on their premises.
 
I would still have a lawyer contact them. If they are forcing you to resign, you should go totally off on them. Everything everyone else has said, DO IT. You have nothing to lose at this point. Then sue them as well. And then kick that rat-bastards ass.. no slapping this time bro.
 
Im happy with my current situation. The head of hr is an ex marine our last meeting was just me and him. He told me in private he totaly understands what i did. Once I told him I would be moving soon he offered me to resign and he would mark it down as a termination of amount of workforce. So they actually layed me off. I dont have a job lined up for when I move soo i will have unemployment for up to a year soo things have actually worked out nicely. He gave me his word as a man he wouldn't deny me unemployment. He told me if things dont work out in SC I can re apply and he will reinstate me. If I wasn;t moving I would do the lawyer thing
 
That's cool. Sounds like a good dude. What type of work are you looking for when you get to SC?
