This past Thursday I had surgery on my knee and ran into some complications been to the emergency room twice. The first time had to take an ambulance cause I was bleeding so bad. Had to get a blood transfusion. I will update more when I am not so under the weather  I kind of wish I never even got the surgery

Keep me in your prayers that I will get better soon

Man that sucks.. I see you must have had my doctor..

Hopefully this will get much better..
My prayers are with ya buddy!!

From what I can see, that's arterial blood, could be from the popliteal artery (inside the knee) you should have been flat on your back with your leg up in the air, pressure directly on the back of the knee or indirectly, higher up the thigh. Shit right there could've killed ya bro, stay safe and hope it all works out for you!

That's when was going to change my bandages after talking to my doctor on the phone... then went the person that went to get new bandages told me I should get it checked out. Then called a guy on the fd that is also a EMT. He also said I should get checked out and call dispatch for an ambulance. I did get to ride in the new one that the company got this past month.

So when they took the bandages it oused (sp?) out with every heart beat. :-( so they had to stitch it up. It was only orthsopic (sp?) Surgery so they only had to go in on two areas.

Am Lossing my focus I will fill you guys later. Sorry for the typos.

I hope it works out bro.
Do you take any blood-thinners?
Looks like a good-sized leak.
Thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery.

A little better today. I didn't have to go back to the emergency room. I did go to the doctors that did the surgery. They said that it was normal and sometimes happens. Then just made out a script. It seems like the doctors do not want to fix the problem but just treat the pain...

Well I am still under the weather and am in a lot of pain. But at least I am doing a little better.

if you were bleeding with your heart beat that sure as hell sounds like a nic to an artery..

normal?? your doctor said its normal to be spraying blood in time with your heart beat? i dont know wtf planet he is on but typically once you are off the table you dont require a transfusion. good luck.. be safe. get a new doctor.. that is just terrifying.. i hope you are doing better

forget a new doctor ... take that ass hat to court - that is in no way shape or form normal brother...

I'm doing a little today. Still am having a very hard time walking around. But I am not using crutches anymore switched to a cane. I miss the gym that was my highlight of the day. Still in a lot of pain and am very bruised. Having to keep a close eye on it cause it is very warm to touch. May have to take another trip down to the emergency room for the pain. It shouldn't be like this.

But I am very lucky to have the guys on the fire dept they check in on me daily and see if I need anything done. If I didn't have them I would be lost cause all the people that I though were my friends are acting like they just don't care cause I will ask them to come over and vist or help me do something and they just say they cant or ignore that I asked or hang up the phone. I need new friends.

and thank to all my A-E family that said prayers for me. Keep them coming they are helping
