As a veteran of 2 foreign conflicts and knowing what those who served have went through physically, more especially mentally, and for some giving the ultimate sacrifice, its important to stop and think and remember our veterans. If you know one or see one thank them. I promise you that little pat on the back goes a long way. God speed to our veterans and their families.

Well said brother.
Unfortunately, Memorial Day has gone from being about those lost in action to being all about BBQs and high gas prices.
I’m a retired, disabled combat veteran and it saddens me to see most folks don’t even think about the real reason they got a three day weekend.

I agree...sad..But I try to stay positive about what it means...I call a lot of my old buds and try to catch up some. This same weekend we have our family reunion and there are several that are vets back to Vietnam.

Yes sir, thank you to the fallen that have made this country what it it is and respect to those that made it back alive as well...

I may not agree with the direction our country is headed at the moment but it’s still the greatest country in the world to live in. Thanks to people like you. Thank you guys! Thanks for serving!
