Oh yeah blame it on the Democratic run congress who have been in charge less than two years, and threatened with vetos every time that they tried to accomplish anything.
It a shame that so many continue to live in denial of facts and history. As for Obama winning because of his color what a crock of shit if that were the case Al Sharpton would been president four years ago. McCain just edged out Obama for the white vote.

Apparently none of the McCain supporters bothered to listen to his concession speech last night, any who have, certainly are not following his lead and request. Racism may not have had a major roll in the outcome of the election, but it sure rears it's head in many of these anti Obama posts. I'm truly surprised with some of you.

That has to be one of the most offensive things I've read today. I don't know one white person that feels that way and I'm in SE Louisiana where the "n" word is used regularly (which I don't approve of). We don't care about the color of his skin. What we do care about is the way he thinks (way to the left) and his lack of experience.

This is the problem. While I know that there is a percentage of the white population (and probably Asian, Hispanic, etc.) that would never vote for a black person, I believe that most (by far) didn't vote against Obama because of his race. On the other hand, I believe that a huge percentage of black voters voted for him SOLEY because of the color of his skin. Conversely, they passed judgment on McCain because of the color of his skin. But apparently that's OK in today's society. I just don't get it.

While I'm on my box, let me comment about having a black person elected as President. I think it would be a great thing had he been voted in due to his experience, etc. considering that a relatively few years ago blacks were so horribly treated in this country. However, on the same day our local Congressman (Bill Jefferson) won a Democratic runoff having been indicted for several crimes. He was videotaped receiving $90,000 in marked bills which were later found in his freezer. He won a huge percentage of the black vote. How is that OK?

Had condeleza rice run as president i would of voted for her and that is a black female. I just don't like obamas whole redistribution of wealth policies it sounds great on paper but you make people lazy
 
i dont support bush by any means. but am a repubilcan. and in all reality, given his circumstances the guy did what he could with what he had to work with. but thats all history. he made his mistakes as did all presidents, and yea some of his were major fuck ups...

but for those of you who are in the boat saying bush was the one to mess the economy up...and he single handedly caused all these problems....

One of the LAST pieces of legislation signed by Clinton and his administration was the approval of these sub-prime mortgages to people who couldnt afford them.

this mess can be easily traced right back to the Clinton administration.

just food for thought...

Of course he was, but in his supporters eyes, their messiah can do no wrong. Just like Mccain supporters refuse to believe that he was the main person trying to give amnesty to millions of illegals living in this country.

I am also. I think he will give it his best given the circumstances he's inherited. Even though I've had questions about a lot of things concerning Obama, he is now our president. It will simply take time to see how things play out.
