Finally moved out completely and left it cleaned from top to bottom. Yesterday all I had left was to finish cleaning the kitchen. The place smelled really clean and I couldn't smell the sewer gas. Began to wonder if it was all in my head, then I went into a total meltdown, hacking so bad I was trying to puke and coughing up the saliva that filled my lungs. No, it was real, and now that the apartment is officially chrome-plated shit, it's someone else's problem. Moving on and getting better each day. No more exposure, and never again! Plan on starting a gym membership this Thursday. Already down 20 lbs from 285 in January, and with the Spring equinox next week, time for summer solstice aspirations in practice now.
