Going to help my stepson put a new intake gasket in his truck. Outside. In the cold. Snowing and the wind gusts going on. Why? Cos that's what dad's do and he needs to get to work Monday.

You're a good dad

Little under inch of snow here but wind is terrible

I don't miss working on cars in the cold. My daughter had a power steering problem the other day and I drove he car to the garage like the spoiled lazy man I am. I will still be her hero though :)

Great to be taking care of your baby girl!

About three feet or more here.

ughhh! Been there done that, all last year. Destroyed a truck and $4k in repairs on the other one. Plowing's a bitch. Happy we only got 6" from that storm. No way I could handle another 119" winter.

Last year at this time we had 10 feet.

Yeah the snow was piled up higher than my house last year. You could not see out my back windows. I always compared driving down the street to the parting of the red sea just with snow. Walls of snow on both sides lol. Not a fun time. hopefully you don't get hit with anymore.

10 feet snow fall, not drifts or snow banks, we finished the winter with over 12 feet of snowfall.

Poor bastard. Yeah we got 119" Caused a lot of damage, and roof collapses

4 inches yesterday here in the Midwest.........sure makes it hard to ride my dirt bike arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I'm in KY, south of Louisville (originally from IL) and the ~9" we got last Friday wreaked havoc on this area.

It's funny, though. People have all the memes and make all the jokes about how people in the south can't handle the snow -- it's not even that. It's just simply that they don't have the resources down here to handle it. Why on earth would the state of KY or TN spend as much money on plows and stuff as MN? It would be stupid to.

But in the spirit of cars, I had a tiny chunk of my tire pop out last week and had to change it (luckily right near an exit with a gas station) while it was about 8 degrees (actual temp -- not windchill) outside. First time I'd had to change a tire in 7 years -- funniest part was the last time I did, it was in the middle of winter, also, and the ground was covered in ice and snow. This may have been cold, but was no where near as bad as that.
