terrible tragedy

A good friend of mine who i had done everything with when i was younger including expermenting with drugs and alcohol called me yesterday from the hospital.. He had been in rehab for about 3 months.. They had him on methadone antidepressants and several other drugs.. He was antibiotics because of a really bad tooth infection.. Well he hadn;t worked out in years he went to the facilites gym and worked out really hard he was former wresteler soo he new how to push himself.. Well an hour later he said he was pissing black!! he told the idiots at the rehab facility they told him not to worry it was problalby just a bladder infection!!!! He insited on going to the hospital.. After getting blood work they told him his kidney and other internal organs were shutting down his body was going into shock.. The muscles broke down and went into his blood stream.. He hadn't been able to reach his step dad who is also a drug addict for many many years.. He told me he couldn;t find hiim because he recently split up from his mother. I went looking for him yesterday to let him know.. I couldn't find him. This morning i got a call from sick buddies twin he told me that there step father passed away last nite from too much methadone and alcohol.. Im completely blown away.. Mixing drugs and putting chemicals into your body is dangerous.. I look back at all of the things ive done and thank godd im still alive.. This is a good lesson for alot of people.. You canot mix drugs like that. What a sad day... MY buddy just got out of the intensive care unit hes gonna pull through
 
wow man that is horrible news to find out. It is good that he is going to pull through though. Hopefully he sees it as a second chance and an eye opener. Not everyone gets the chance to make right..
 
Your rite.. I had a feeling something bad was gonna happen to the step dad.. After the breakup with his wife i spent sometime with him he was hammered everday for the last 6 months.. Hes on a perscription of methadone blood pressure medicine and sleeping pills.. He lived a very hard life it was a matter of time
 
The older we live, the more of our friends we will see die.
It's unfortunate, but don't beat yourself down about it.
It's sad news for sure, when you see others care little about their lives to destroy themselves so effectively.
The depression did him in.
My condolences.
 
I am really sorry about your friend, I hope he makes a full recovery. And Oly sucks off dogs.

Thanks everyone.. I went to the funeral for my sick buddies step father.. The guys was a real hillibilly always wore real tree camo.. Everybody at the funeral wore real tree camo it was pretty cool.. They had him in his cuffin dressed in his fatigues
