In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America, he said:

"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out." Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:

1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.

One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Only problem I have with Tony Blair is he seems to be George Bush's puppet other then that I'm sure he's a great man.

Not a G. Bush , or Tony Blair fan. Can't wait till the next Presidential election.

Bush will most likely go down as one of the BIGGEST IDIOTS we've ever had for president lmao. My god that's the best person we can find? Now tell me our country isn't totally controlled by the elite wealthy.

I remember this fucking idiot I worked with a while back this sob was such a die hard republican it was sickening. He would say shit like that bush is a funny man because some of that asanein coments he made. He really just thought bush was funny haha not funny like what a fucking moron lol. Not your problem asking how do I really feel about bush lol.

you know seriously, this thread was not about Bush, this was about Tony Blair, and JB had a good point, and I think you are getting off track, you can bash Bush all you want, but he is richer than any of us, and obviously smarter as well, if you think your smarter than him, go ahead and try to get into the whitehouse yourself. I get a kick out of people who constantly try to run people down.....

thats easy for you to say, but the sad fact is that many people who cant afford to run for presidency would do a much better job than the assholes who can afford it and do.

Anti is a smart man. First let me say that anyone who thinks that becoming president has anything to do with intilegence has their head up their well you know. Money and who's billionaire ass you're willing to kiss is the only thing that will get you there. And another thing george w isn't rich because he's so fucking smart it's because of his family's fortune. Anyone who could possibly say bush is anything but a fucking dumb puppet for the oil comapnies and all other big industry is an idiot and I am right.

yeah I know this board is full of democrats, I have always had to argue on here.....lol

it's ok, because one thing I know, it is EASY to critisize people when you are sitting in your living room watching tv, or reading about him on the internet. Put yourself under all that pressure and see just how good you react to the problems. Like it or not it is the truth.

Bush is not comfortable as a public speaker, and has made a few questionable choices. Easy to criticize him while you're watching the Simpsons and will never have a clue in the world how hard it is to have his job and make decisions that affect the entire planet. IMHO, he is an iron man, and my favorite president since John F. Kennedy. Reagan is right behind him. The only reason I can sleep safe at night is because despite the fact that he is widely critized in this country and abroad, George Bush is feared and respected by the terrorists around the globe.

The funny thing is that most of the men I know in the military, including our own USNET321, and several young marines I work out with at the gym, back Bush 110% One of those Marines told me he was eager to be back in Iraq, and all the armchair critics who only know what's going on from watching the liberal tv news shows make him puke. Most of the men in the service, and yes they will always be a few whiners and cowards, will tell you the common folk there consider us their saviors and hated the Saddam regime.

Funny these warriors are treated and respected as heroes by the Iraqi people and thought of as clueless Bush puppets in their own country. Sad.

And yes, I am extreme right wing Republican.

Ok I can see we are on totally opposites sides so no need for me to say anymore. It sounds like you die hard republicans know the truth and anyone who disagrees is a simpson watcher, yeah ok lmao. By the way I though bush's dad was just as big of an idiot lol.

No, there are some liberals who watch shows like "South Park" and "Queer as Folk" or skarhead's favorite "Queer eye for a straight guy!" :flute:

wel there,s been all sorts said about tony blair, but i think the word twat! says it all!

I am always willing to discuss anything I'm always open minded. If we all agreed on everything where would the discussion be?

KC, I have several members in my family as well who are in the military, and yes they are all in favor of Bush and back him 110%, and yes they support the war and agree it is right for us to be there. I am sorry I agree with John on this one, I like Bush Sr. as well

Yes I believe there are people on both sides of supporting the war and both have the right to their oppinion. I just happen to be on the side of being against it. I'm not one to be intimitated because of not being politically correct that has never been my weakness. If you ask someone currently in the military if they support the war I would willing to bet 95% would say yes. Not because they do but because of the problems they would fear it would cause for them. Ask them when they get out and see if you get the same answer.

I do not believe in being political correct, never have never will........I am not afraid to tell someone they are fat, don't care if it is right or not, and I don't care if someone thinks it is right or wrong to say something about queers, doesn't phase me a bit. I don't believe in being a homo........but I am blunt, like me or not, I am not politically correct.

Besides what does this have to do with Tony Blair?......lol

nice one g4!! just showed your last message to my missis! lol. queers and fat people should be quarantined!haha, and my missis recons i,m the only person left on earth who speaks my mind, no matter if it upsets some people!! whats the point of having free speach if we are all afraid to use it!!! sorry for hijacking the tony blair subject guys, but he is a total dickhead, and i just had to jump in!!

Ok I think being outspoken and being mean and rude are totally different things. I would never walk up to someone and say hey you're fat and ugly that's uncalled for and not being a good person. I consider myself a christian and that is not something I would do.

oh I agree KC, and I would never intentionally try to hurt someone just to be hurting them, but if the situation called for it, I would not be afraid to tell someone "your fat" or "your a homo"

but being fat and being a homo are not even comparable, those are just 2 examples of things I thought of first when you mentioned being politically correct.

if your fat, basically it comes from laziness,
being a homo is choice, you are NOT born gay, I repeat that being homo is a choice! you are NOT born gay.

I wish we could leave the gay issue out of this it really isn't relavant. If someone is homophobic that's their right, but there's really nothing positive to come out out of discussing it.

well you brought up two issues KC, first you mentioned political correctness, and you know that gayness is a huge one for that issue, and you also mentioned being a Christian, and you know very well being gay is 100% against God's word............

if you are truly a Christian, you would stand firmly on your beliefs and not tip toe around issues likes "gays" because you are worried someone might be offended. As a Christian You ought to be offended they "claim" God made them that way, that really ought to burn you up

well, before you go thinking that all military personell backs up our president, my uncle just retired as from the marines and he served for 22 years. And he absolutely hates bush becuase of his lack of speaking and the bad decisions hes made.

you can call me an armchair politician or whatever the fuck you want to, it doesnt bother me one bit, and i dont watch tv very often either, so dont think im sitting here forming my opinions during the commercial breaks of the simpsons.

the bottom line is that a president who is in charge of foreign affairs, and in charge of the country needs to be a good public speaker. he needs to have teh ability to properly convey messages without making himself look like an ass. he represents you and me both, and i dont know about you, but i dont like the person representing me coming off as an uneducated person. second of all, neither of us know how we would preform under pressure, but i believe that i am already more accomplished with alot less oportunities handed to me in life than our president. ive been selected this part year as one of 250 of the greatest minds on the globe, and went down to the Senate building, and i have a picture of me standing there with Claes Nobel to prove it. I was only 17 at the time as well.

what has bush actually accomplished for himself? you know, something that money and daddy wasnt somehow involved in?

Damn Anti for your age you impress the hell out me. This exactly what I was discussing with someone today that how our president is representing our country and how he speaks is very important. I really get irritated that people say oh bush just isn't a good speaker. That is bullshit bush just isn't an intilegent person plain and simple. I'll take Bill Clinton he was one highly inteligent person and speaker.

So you're saying god wouldn't make anyone gay but he would let a baby be born without arms or legs? Explain the logic.

I hope nobody thinks my avatar is saying anything negative of bush. It's just a coincidence.

how can you compare a handicap like no arms and legs to a sickness such as being a homo?

seriously KC, your surprising me now, you said you were a Christian, are you familiar with the bible?
