US vs Canada hockey game

Anyone else watching it? Pretty exciting game so far. Canada is leading on shots and has the first goal, but the US seems alot more aggressive and has more checks. Almost a fight at the end.. couldnt tell who hit who
 
Ah I love hockey

Ive been watched game to this point but men and womans. Crappy goal Miller let up, he was left out to dry on a piss poor defensive move

but the great has been great so far
 
yes..off and on..US and Canada have been rivalries for yrs...just like russia and the US
 
Great game, yeah the US lost but it was awesome regardless !
 
it was a good game, but yeah the US did make some dumb moves. Oh well. I had no idea the OT was sudden death
 
great game. Figured it was over when the us pulled their goalie... haven't cheered that loud over anything on tv in a long time. Bummed the US lost, but I guess it's alright since pumping out hockey players is what canada is here for.
 
it was a good game im canadian so i was going for canada i couldnt believe it when the us tied it up i thought they would win in ot for sure but canada steped it up alot in ot and were setting the pace. it was more then just a gold for canadian hockey team with that gold we set the record for most gold ever won by a single country in the winter olympics yayyyy

Hey the US still won more medals over all!. Canada finished top 3 in the medal count, USA had 37, which is a record, Germany had 30, and Canada had 26. Lets us not forget the last summer olympics where Phelps(USA) won 8 or so gold medals on his own!. I believe it took the whole country of Canada to win just 2 more than that lol. Anyways just breaking balls here, still bitter about the loss I guess lol.
 
It was a great game, I was routing for the USA but if we couldn't get the Gold I'm glad it went to Canada my second most favorite country.
 
canada took the womens as well.... theres no doubt that usa always tops the medal counts and always dominates im just happy with canadas proformance cause our athletes really impressed me this year. hopefully the goverment and organisations will fund our athletes now lol.....remember canada only has 30 million to choose from states has alot more
 
That was a great game for sure, and probably could have gone either way. What really surprised me about the mens hockey was Russia... they had a crappy tourney when they were supposed to do well. Seems like lately the US/Canada are the tops of the class when it comes to hockey.

at the beginning they put him in but truthfully they shoouldnt have they did it out of respect but hes 40 now hes old slower and not a great goalie not like he used to be they put the right goalie in net after that. i still think in shoot outs and break aways brodeur is amazing but in regular play hes done hes still average or a bit better then average but not the best
 
but the american goalie is extremely good he is always good in the olympics as far as i could see

Dude its about styles. They knew the USA scored alot low as did some other countries they played. Hes not a butterfly goalie. He may be getting older, but he is anything but average. In the last year or two he broke the record for all time shutouts and some other stuff.. I think :nerd:
 
I was really happy that Canada won the Gold Medal but I got banned from a board when I said that Canadians were simply the best .. I emailed a supermod and he unbanned me .. because that wasn't right!
