workout log...???

I think a key to better success is keeping a log. I have been stubborn on this subject until now. It took me hitting a plateau to realize this. I was like ?why don?t I try to do a little heavier this week? Well what did I do last week or the week before?? I don?t know? No log? I cant remember shit. So therefore I am going to start a log.

But my question is? How many of you actually keep a well organized log? Does it help? Where can I get a guideline to start one? I went to the book store and seen a golds gym one for $20. But in my opinion it sucked. Does anyone have any ideas for me?
 
Dude just use a regular notebook. They make small notebooks so you dont have to carry a huge one. I just use a note book thats about 12 in x 8 in or something like that. Not too big, but just enough room to make little side notes and keep track of everything
