Cool souvenier from my first Scuba Dive

My friend is training me, so we aren't doing things the orthodox way. We did our first dive in the Potomac river, in bumfuck VA. There are a lot of sharks teeth on the beach, mainly small ones. But check out what I found about 30-40 feet from shore:

My instructor is also a fossil collector. This is a megalodon tooth, and my instructor estimates that it is about 15 million years old. It is just over 4.25 inches.

Just thought that was worth sharing.

Besides, he has much bigger teeth at home, a lot of his are well over five inches long.

That tooth in its condition would probably sell for over a 100. If you look up Megalodon on ebay, some of these teeth sell for well over a grand.
