My friend is training me, so we aren't doing things the orthodox way. We did our first dive in the Potomac river, in bumfuck VA. There are a lot of sharks teeth on the beach, mainly small ones. But check out what I found about 30-40 feet from shore:
My instructor is also a fossil collector. This is a megalodon tooth, and my instructor estimates that it is about 15 million years old. It is just over 4.25 inches.
Just thought that was worth sharing.
