Spain, they're leading Russia 2-0 right now, David Villa got both them. I've bet Spain to win & Torres to get top scorer.
 
No, they just scored as i opened the post.
Holland were immense, the Italians played with 9 over 30's in their starting 11 and a yuothful Dutch side played the better football.
3-1 now
 
4-1 now..... I cant wait for Croatia- Germany Last tourny result from those two was 3-0 in 98' semi's.

I think the Germans will be too strong for them, they could've had 4 or 5 against Poland. What you reckong for the Sweden - Greece game next?

BTW JrMafia's Italian-American and used to play when he was younger, wonder why he's not posted up about it, maybe because of the 3-0 last night.
 
im starting to get into soccer. it's fun as hell. almost wish sometimes i could go over to europe and experience all the soccer craziness culture that we dont have over here. :(

Not sure... I like the underdogs, so Greece. Even though to be honest I dont know much about the Sweden team.

Yeah Maf must be pissed....My gf is italian she wasnt too happy either.
 
I tried to post up a poll with all the teams in it but we're only allowed to post 10 options. I don't want to tempt fate and miss anyone out as Greece won it in 2004 and they were supposed to be mince!

Mine is in Spain on holiday with her folks, she called earlier as there was fireworks going off all over the place.
 
I think germany is going to win they are playing in austria that is almost like a homegame for them.

Their team is too old Jr, just like AC Milan in last season's Champions league, they went in as reigning champs but it was one comp too far for them.
Might be stating the obvious but from what I've seen, the winner will be from either Spain, Holland, Germany or at a push Portugal. The first 3 teams have impressed me and Portugal have Ronaldo, just check out the links below...

i think kaka is the best footballer in the world. I am not a fan of the portugese they fall down and crow alot.

I used to go to Rangers games but stopped because of the religious bigotry. I've always followed Liverpool though, when I was growing up they were always on TV and they had loads of Scots in their side, I only took interest in Rangers as Souness was one of my sporting heroes and he got the manager's job there.
I follow my hometown more now, Hamilton, just won promotion into the premier league, they'll struggle but it'll be good to see them there.
 
yea my father got 12-1 on italy 600 bet. Hey played the props
 
i watch the games with my father. I played on metrostars reserve and started in d3 as a freshmen. I gave it up i was a goalie they only carry 3 on a roster and most have to redshirt and play in ur jr or sr. year plus the training with school was to much. Running at 6am then class then practice the lift later. All that to not play.

I also played in italy for a while in a showcase. I play ac milan, feyernord and salernitana.

I come from a soccer background.
 
lol not for anything italian soccer fans are like yankee fans though. Alot of them you ask them things about players and they have no idea. Be an italy fan because they win the world cup lol.

And that shit with the flag lol you are in america did u forget the american part about italian-american. I find it amusing most of the people with the flag and shit are not even full italian and don't speak italian it is like a fashion statement for them.

Yeah I totally know what u mean bout the flags and shit. People will call them selves italian being 1/18th of the mix.
But in my area most of the ppl can speak and are basically italian.. Like me speakin, bein able to read and write Cro.
I'll make a vid for u next time i go to the Cro centre for a game last game i showed up at 5am for a tailgate still drunk from bein in a wedding party the night b4....my buddies had 150dollars worth of ICE in a truck bed just filled with beers. Another friend had a grill out makin sausages. It was hilarious cops roll by the centre goin WTF....
