SLDL- ( 135x5 225x5 275x2 OH grip) (315x2 355x5PR DL grip) had more in the tank

Hammer Machine Shrug-
90x7 180x7 270x7 360x7 450x7+5power shrugs

Great workout today gotta love the PR's. I could have went heavier on the SLDL's but it felt more than enough for today. Overall I had a great workout and everything went smooth.
 
Heavy Bench Day

Bench (wide comp grip)

Floor Press (pinky on ring)- ( 315x3 335x3 all paused) 365x3 first rep paused rest tng 225x20(changed grip) had a few reps left but didn't feel like burning myself out

Front DB Raises- 35'sx5 45'sx5 55'sx5

Straight bar Cable Curl- 100x10 2sets

Incline DB Curl- 35'sx6 45'sx6

Rotator



Nice workout today. The 355 went just like the 345 did last week so that is a good sign and like most of you know anything I do with this comp grip is pretty much a PR b/c I usually do middle finger on ring. The only problem I had was using my lats. I have been having a ton of trouble with this lately and my lat use has been pretty much non existant

The floor presses were a lot harder than I remember. All heavy sets were done thumbless and felt awkard as hell. However, I changed my grip to thumbs wrapped around the bench and the 225 felt very solid. Will have to stick to that grip on floor presses from now on. I really need to work this again next week b/c my stablizers were weak as hell.

Thanks bro this is the second or third time this year I have done them and man I love them. My hams and lower back never been so sore. I also do them on one of those cardio step things so the ROM is increased the bar is just about my shoe so it is perfect

Thanks bro that is what i'm hoping. To be honest right now i'm starting to think I might try to get down to 220 and compete in that weight class instead of 242's
 
yeah i think 220 would be your best bet..i wanna compete but my Dl is pathetic at my weight..

im hopeing to get down to 240 and see how i feel then maybe ill think about competeing

I was just looking at some meet results in monster muscle mags and in bench the 220 actually benched more weight than the guys in the 242's found that to be pretty odd. I was looking in the junior division also ages 20-24. So hell who knows

Great workout today. I had no lifting partner yet my speed bench was fast as hell. No matter where my hands were the bar was just flying. I had a few reps left in my on the db bench but felt no need to go to failure. By the time I got to lat pulls I was exhausted so I just settled for 2sets and called it a day

Some kid today was like telling me how I might not be able to make it in PL b/c i'd have to be able to handle 500+lbs so it could touch in my shirt. I was like bro I got nothing but time and energy not worried about it one bit. He was like well just don't be dissappointed. It was like he was trying to act like I wasn't doing well for my age and expierence level

Great workout today hit some PR's so all is well. The damn GM's killed me those things put a huge strain on your body I really reccommend them :D

Edit: I guess I should add that I don't wear a belt or wraps if that matters

I have the 315,335 and 365 sets all taped. I didn't pause as long as i'd liked on the 365 set but it was easy. However, the last rep had a good pause to it so it's all good. I had more in me on the 4board press, but my lifting partner had to leave so I called it quits and I was happy with it. Other than that I had a great day and i'll try to get the vids up soon.
 
o yeah I also have a vid of me about ready to fall off the bench with 365 haha
 
Not feeling very well today. I think the change in seasons is getting to me. Started having nose bleeds last night and this morning.

All i'm going to do today is

Speed Bench- 225x3 8sets

BB Shrugs- 135x7 225x7 315x7


Great workout today. I just couldn't stand up anymore so I quit doing shrugs my lower back and legs were toast. My squat set was insane and all reps were really deep. The first 10 were pretty smooth but the last 5 were a struggle had to wait 5-10secs for the last few reps b/c I was dead.
 
My new goal is 385x5paused. I want it within the next month. It mostly depends on how my 375set goes tomorrow. If I get it easy i'll go for 385 the week after but if not then i'll have to see. But that's my goal and I will get it
 
Matt - just an opinionated suggestion.... get some good wrist wraps. THey are a must have and really do help with db/bb pressing movements.

funny u said that b/c I just got some last week. I was actually supposed to have them a month ago but the bro I bought them from didn't get them sent on time. Needless to say I was getting pretty pissed, but no worries no I got some
 
On a side note it does look like there is something stopping me from hitting my goals. Me and my lifting partner will be splitting ways after this week I believe. Today he stopped me on campus and we had to change are lifting time to 3hrs earlier than usually and that early in the morning I just don't have the nutrients and everything else I need in my body to hit the heavy weights. I believe this is the only time he will have available, so fuck him I guess he was never dedicated enough anyway. It's ashame though b/c he gave some killer lift offs, and almost everyone was right on the money. So it looks like I may be having to bench in the squat rack and that kills my form but I guess I will just have to deal with.
