Vman was the owner of 2 boards, Anabolic-Support and Body Building Central, and was a personal friend. He passed away August 12 from natural causes. His orbituary is below:

DON VINCENT BALI AKA : VMAN, VINNIE, DONNIE, UNCLE DON AUG. 22, 1969 - AUG. 12, 2008 Turlock, CA -- Don V. Bali, died August 12, 2008 suddenly from natural causes. Born August 22, 1969 in Hayward, CA. He grew up there and then moved to Tracy before his senior year of high school in 1986. After moving to the Central Valley, Don lived in Tracy, Manteca, Modesto and Turlock. Don was a National Guard / US Army vet and was a decorated and proud soldier. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and owned several small businesses including a successful detail shop. Don then decided to pursue a career in law enforcement, completing his certificate program. He then changed paths, as he often did, but decided to re-visit his true career calling in Law Enforcement. Don then spent 7+ years with the Stanislaus Country Sheriff's Department and worked in Hughson and in other locations. He was a decorated deputy and had been recognized as peace officer of the year. He also worked as a detective and in the court system as a bailiff. Don enjoyed time with his friends, family, and pets. He loved camping, the beach and the outdoors; as well as movies and BBQ / cooking. Don was a loving and true friend; as well as a very proud Godfather to his best friend's son, Seth. Don loved children and although married and divorced twice, he sadly leaves no children or family of his own behind. Don lost his mother Mary three years ago to a long battle with several health concerns and leaves behind an aunt; as well as many friends and family that considered Don their own. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, Aug. 29th, 2008 at Eaton Family Funeral Home in Modesto, CA with Pastor Paul Mueller, officiating. Don's final resting place will be at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson, CA. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in Don's name to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund www.fallenheroesfund.org or make a donation to Jeff Brady who will be making a consolidated donation on Don's behalf. www.modbee.com/obituaries
