what do you use for intra training nutrition while working out ?

whats the best to use for nutrition during your wo to help spare muscle ?....bcaas / carbs or what type ?
 
just water unless I am on a calorie deficit, then I hit BCAA such as Xtend
 
that's good to know how about any fast carbs like carb load..............since I,m trying to put together a pre and intra wo drink with bcaas/beta alanine /glutamine/creatine drink. thoughts and maybe cittruline malate
 
When I lift I'm never really cutting, always bulking so I have a protein shake once I get warmed up. Not a home made one, just one from the quick shop lol
 
I usually just sip on my post w.o drink of whey & gatorade - usually drink about 1/2 during the workout, then finish it when done.
